Key races and best bets
UNEQUAL LOVE - 3.00 Haydock
It's hard to get away from UNEQUAL LOVE, who took her form up a notch last year (including a top-level placing over C&D) and William Haggas' mare should strip fitter for her reappearance at Newmarket earlier this month. Frost At Dawn has found just one too strong in this company the last twice and she may have to settle for a third silver medal, with the progressive 3-y-os Rogue Sensation and French Sand taken to fight out minor honours.
LIBERTY LANE - 3.50 Goodwood
A case can be made for a few of these but Karl Burke's LIBERTY LANE holds the edge on form and is fancied to build on an eye-catching recent Chester third and add to last year's impressive Cambridgeshire victory. Cash should strip a lot fitter for his reappearance sixth in Sandown's Mile and could emerge as the main danger, although Exoplanet, Silver Knott and Sir Busker can all have a say too in this very open Listed event.
FAROUGH - 6.47 Pontefract
FAROUGH's Leicester debut form looks reasonable so he's taken to strike with 6f promising to suit. Ubetterseethis had an excuse when turned over at short odds at Beverley and looks sure to play a prominent role if back to the level of his near miss on his 5f course debut. Try Storm Cat and Lily Pearl rate interesting newcomers.
SHACKLETON - 6.55 Curragh
Aidan O'Brien has a fine record in this Group 3 and his improving son of Camelot SHACKLETON is fancied to make a winning return and thwart form pick Tiberius Thunder who rates a big danger. Reyenzi and Dawn Spirit appeal as the pick of the rest and can fight it out for minor honours.
